Just read the following documents and wonder why the Press Unions in Greece (mainly ESIEA) did not do anything to resolve the scandalous situation of having as Secretary General, the most valuable Media ally of an extremist and anti-journalistic cult.
Although, Greek users may better understand the Greek text, I will include a detailed review on the Media situation, including the "Trimis case".
 

• Communication lines in Greece. This 1995 document lists Dimitris Trimis and the "reporters" of the IOS (Virus) column in Eleftherotypia newspaper, in the top of Scientology allies.
• The Scientology Office of Special Affairs (Scientology's Secret Service) in this Newsletter to national Directors, clearly writes about the IOS reporters in writing a defamatory article against f. Anthony Alevizopoulos, a Scientology opponent. This staged article was clearly false but was proven without doubt as such in this article of RESALTO magazine.
• This is the article in the RESALTO magazine which exposed Trimis' Scientology links.
• This is another RESALTO article proving another IOS article as biased and out-of-press-ethics.
• This is the RESALTO answer the newspaper did not publish it. The letter was the answer to an IOS defamatory story about RESALTO's revelation.
